YOUTH THEATRE HELSINKI
Meet the Team
We are three professional actors and experienced theatre practitioners sharing our passion for theatre by creating a safe creative space for working with young people.

Rebecca Ward
Rebecca is an actor, voiceover artist and theatre maker from the UK. Her passion and training in acting revolve around story-telling and devising. Rebecca has harnessed these arts in the creation of her own theatre company, Wind Song Theatre, which creates original stories with music for family audiences. Their next show is coming to the Palace Theatre (UK) for the Christmas residency in 2025.
Rebecca started her career working in theatre in London and has worked on Olivier nominated productions, popular TV shows and is also an award nominated voice actor.
Rebecca enjoys running, cuddles with her sausage dog Peggy and eating delicious food - especially pizza!

Sarah Puukka
Sarah (she/her) is an actor and theatre facilitator based in Helsinki. She has trained in physical theatre, improvisation and the Meisner technique through various workshops across Europe. Sarah has many years of experience in both performing and creating theatre, and has a special passion for helping young people express themselves through movement, voice and play.
She believes in meeting every child where they are, while gently challenging them to grow. Her workshops are rooted in joy, presence and curiosity — and often include lots of laughter.
When she’s not in the rehearsal room, Sarah loves running in nature and jamming with friends on her violin.

Daniel McMullen
Daniel (he/him) is a Helsinki based actor and theatre maker with a passion for creativity, connection, and growth. With years of training both in the US and Europe, his journey in the performing arts has been fueled by a love for storytelling and the transformative power of theatre.
Daniel has been facilitating acting, drama, and improv workshops for children from kindergarten to high school all around Helsinki. His goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where kids can express themselves, connect with others, and explore the boundless possibilities of their imaginations.
In his spare time, Daniel walks in the forest with his Saint Bernard and cooking for his family.
